Yiqing Wan

Research Area:
Investigation of advanced reflectometry instrumental concepts for swarms of nanosatellites

Bio:

Yiqing Wan received his B.Eng. degree in Electronics Engineering from Sichuan University, China, in 2021, and his M.Sc. degree in Wireless, Photonics and Space Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, in 2024. He is currently with the Earth Observation group at the Institute of Space Sciences (ICE-CSIC) in Barcelona, Spain. He has experience in electromagnetic waves, remote sensing, GNSS systems, as well as field research. He is working on the GLITTER project to develop advanced GNSS-R instrumental concepts based on a distributed array of antennas across a swarm of nanosatellites, working as a high-directive synthetic antenna or a multi-satellite SAR instrument. He is interested in applying his research outcomes to land and ocean scenarios for environmental management and disaster prevention.
