GLITTER Research

The GLITTER project is covers instrumental, orbital and data analysis aspects in the field of GNSS-R in general and in the area of formation flights of CubeSats in particular. It is organized in 6 Workpackages (see Figure 1), half of which are technical. The latter concern formation flights (WP3), Synchronization and calibration (WP4) and Interpretation (WP5). This requires a tight management (WP1), close a cooperation among Doctoral Candidates (DCs), made possible among others through a total of 6 months of secondments at partners institutions, as wells as continuous interaction between DCSs and their respective supervision committees. Four doctoral courses have been organized, so as to ensure a good common knowledge (WP2). The courses are followed by workshops, where the DCs can have a hands-on experience with a little swarm of drones. Publications produced by the consortium can be found on the Zenodo platform (WP6) and interviews of the DCs can be found here. A continuous monitoring of potentially exploitable results is also ensured. The main interactions between DCs are described in Figure 2. Click on the DC number to see his/her interview.
